How to get to Brescia

Milan Malpensa International Airport (MXP - website)

Malpensa is the main airport in Northern Italy and arrivals include flights from most nations of the world. It is located about 100 km from Brescia. To get to Brescia, there is a direct train service to Milano Railway Station (Milano Stazione Centrale). The train is called Malpensa Express (see: www.malpensaexpress.it) The train leaves from Malpensa Terminal 1. A free shuttle service connects Terminal 2 with Terminal 1. Then, take a train from Milano to Brescia (see www.trenitalia.it). Consider, approx, 2 hours from Malpensa airport to Brescia.

Milan Linate International Airport (LIN - website)

Linate airport is located about 70 km from Brescia. Take a shuttle to the railway station (Milano Stazione Centrale) and then a train to Brescia (see www.trenitalia.it). Shuttle services connecting the airport to the Milano railway station and viceversa leave every 30 minutes (STARFLY www.starfly.net and ATM www.atm.it). Consider, approx, 1.30 from Milano airport to Brescia

Milano Bergamo – Orio al Serio International Airport (website)

Milano Bergamo- Orio al Serio airport is the main low-cost flight airport in Italy. Direct flights from Amsterdam, Athens, Barcelona, Berlin (Tegel), Bratislav, Brussels (Charleroi), Bucarest, Budapest, Copenhagen, Cracov, Dublin, Düsseldorf, Eindhoven, Frankfurt (Hahn), Glasgow (Prestwick), Hamburg, Hannover, Katowice, Krakov, Liverpool, London (Luton and Stansted), Luxembourg, Madrid, Munich, Newcastle, Paris, Shannon, Oslo, Katowice, Sal, Sevilla, Stockholm, Timosoara, Valencia, Wien, and Zaragoza. Five times a day, a shuttle connects the airport with platform 14 of the Autostazione SAIA, which is close to the Brescia railway station (see. http://www.autostradale.it/pdf/festivitaaereoporti/orari_brescia_23_07_12.pdf). Consider, approx, one hour from Bergamo airport to Brescia.

Verona “Valerio Catullo” Airport (website)

Verona airport is located about 80 km from Brescia. Direct flights from Amsterdam, Barcelona, Brussels, Chisinau, Frankfurt, London, Munich, Paris, Tirana, and Wien. To get to Brescia, take a shuttle to the Verona railway station (Verona Porta Nuova) and then a train to Brescia (see www.trenitalia.it). Shuttle services connecting the airport and the Verona railway station leave every 20 minutes from 06.35 to 23.35 (see: AEROBUS www.atv.verona.it). Consider, approx, 1.5 hours from Verona airport to Brescia.
